FIELD GUIDE / VISIT GENTLY
A considerate day on the trail.
Check local guidance
Look for current access, weather, and safety information before you leave.
Stay on durable paths
Use established routes and follow posted instructions at sensitive areas.
Carry out what you bring
Keep food scraps and litter with you until you reach an appropriate bin.
Give wildlife space
Watch quietly from a distance; never feed or handle wild animals.
Leave plants where they grow
Take photographs and field notes instead of collecting natural objects.
